Holland College Foundation

The Holland College Foundation was established in 1982 to enhance the continuing development of Holland College. Managed by a Board of Directors and resourced entirely by the College, the Foundation directs the College’s fundraising initiatives, administers the investment and distribution of funds, and proudly celebrates the generosity of the many businesses, foundations, and individuals who support the College’s important role in the lives of learners worldwide.

Holland College opened its doors in the fall of 1969 to 82 students enrolled in four programs. Today, the College has approximately 9,000 full-time and part-time learners enrolled in programs across the Island and in China. More than 70 credentials are offered in a wide variety of areas including culinary, policing, marine training, applied sciences and engineering technology, trades and industrial technology, health and community services, communications and media studies, computer studies, business studies, sport and leisure studies, performing arts, and tourism at 13 campuses and centres across the province.

Led by instructors who are experts in their field, our diploma and certificate programs are recognized for their combination of theory and hands-on training. Articulation agreements with institutions around the world give Holland College students the opportunity to continue their studies to earn a degree in as little as two years after graduating with their diploma.

The Holland College Foundation works with the donor community to provide much needed funding for an array of College priorities. In addition to funding research, capital, and other special projects, hundreds of students benefit annually through our scholarships, bursaries, and awards program.
